| Our Concept to Key service evolved out of
our clients’ demands for a hassle-free project. Many people do not want
the headache of dealing with the red-tape that is sometimes inevitable in
building and design. Liasing with engineers, builders, and the like can be
daunting, particularly without industry knowledge. The time and effort
required to obtain quotes, verify reputations, and appoint professionals
and trades people is often not possible with today’s busy lifestyle. At
Rashidi Designs, our Concept to Key service provides the client with
complete project management, from the initial concept for the design, to
the time they are handed the keys to their finished home. We can
co-ordinate design, drafting, town planning, engineers, builders,
subcontractors, suppliers, and all other required parties so that your
project is completed in a timely manner, in budget, and exceeds your
expectations. The discerning client demands Concept to Key. |

| Access and Mobility Design |

| Australia’s population is ageing. This
places new requirements on our infrastructure, and changes the model of
society. The dream for retirement is the ability to continue living the
rest of our lives in our current homes. As we age, the familiarity of our
area, the facilities, and the community is comforting. The idea of moving
into an expensive and isolating nursing home is quite daunting. To fulfil
such a dream, renovations are often necessary, but not always expensive.
Bathrooms and kitchens are key areas where access and mobility are vital.
Good lighting, wide walkways, and step-less thresholds are other important
aspects of access and mobility design. At Rashidi Designs, we can modify
your current home so that you, your family, and friends can enjoy the

| Sustainable Design & Energy Rating |

| Sustainability Victoria’s 5-Star Standard
requires that all new homes achieve an energy rating of 5 stars for the
building fabric, water saving measures, and the installation of a
rainwater tank or a solar hot water system. At Rashidi Designs we are
conscious of the current state of the environment, which is why we strive
to create designs that are energy efficient, resource conscious, and
sustainable. It all links back to Designing Tomorrow Today. Sustainable
designs not only reduce energy and water bills but also improve comfort.
Making your home ‘green’ can also increase the selling rate as well as
raise the value of your home. Sustainable design does not have to be
complicated. It can be as simple as orientating a house to take maximum
advantage of the sun for light and heat in winter, or of providing
appropriate shading to windows to block harsh summer heat. Sustainable
design can be more innovative too. A roof or wall constructed from
super-insulated daylighting panels allows natural light in, while
remaining private and insulated. Each client and each site has unique
